In this pillar, the three participating utilities develop and execute pilot projects of on-bill schemes. As a starting point, RenOnBill partners identify a segment of the utilities' residential customer base in order to define targeted offers for specific clusters of clients, according to the strategy chosen by each utility. Subsequently, partner utilities use the ERV-Tool (third pillar) to evaluate different sets of energy saving building renovation measures that could be offered to the identified customers.
Finally, the ERV-Tool is employed to examine different bundles of renovation projects from a financial/risk assessment point of view, thus allowing utilities to connect the planned pilot OBS to optimal investment strategies.
